LETTER FROM THE SECRETARY GENERAL

We are delighted to invite you to the Sixth chapter of the Jaipuria Model United Nations Conference (JMUN), to be held from 18th to 20th May, 2018, at Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, Lucknow.

The first school level Model UN conference in Uttar Pradesh, JMUN has made a mark for itself owing to its warm hospitality, high standards of debate, and novelty in committees simulated. This year JMUN offers nine very engrossing committees that cover diverse issues affecting people of different areas and times. To ensure the most enriching experience for all delegates, each committee is backed by an accomplished Executive Board. In addition, our Press Corps affords students an opportunity to step into the shoes of reporters, and discover the subtle nuances of the profession while being within the ambit of an actual committee and its dynamics.

We expect these committees to test the delegates and their depth of research, innovation in solutions, and diplomacy of the highest order. With an array of unique crisis simulations in store, delegates should be ready to expect the unexpected and think on their feet. So with that we can say without the slightest hint of uncertainty that there won’t be a dull moment in committee.
